Taking Success to New Heights

Since our last HMSHost feature, our client has added two big wins to their impressive list of accomplishments—and of course, we just had to share! First, HMSHost secured a major contract with Indianapolis International Airport (IND), a 10-year contract valued at $147M. Then, they reeled in an even bigger fish: a $186M 10-year contract to develop a new terminal at Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport (DFW) – Terminal F.

When preparing their proposal for IND, HMSHost knew they wanted to create a selection of offerings that would be truly “One of a KIND.” Indiana Pacers Courtside Club, Circle City Beer Garden, and Ben’s Soft Pretzels all provide an authentic taste of Indy. From Indiana-made craft beers to the favorite dishes of legendary Pacers players, travelers will get to experience the best of Indianapolis as soon as they arrive—and once again right before they return home. In addition to these local favorites, HMSHost will also install Indiana’s first Shake Shack location.

Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport

Just as HMSHost plans to bring a taste of Indianapolis to IND, they also plan to feature local Dallas favorites in the upcoming Terminal F at DFW. HMSHost will be developing the new terminal to provide a food hall experience inspired by the West Dallas restaurant incubator Trinity Groves from legendary Dallas restaurant entrepreneur Phil Romano. The food hall will showcase successful incubator concepts that will rotate to bring the latest trends to travelers.

HMSHost plans to include another concept from Phil Romano as well: Eatzi’s Market & Bakery, an award-winning, authentic Italian market. To round out the offerings, the new terminal will also include Cake Bar, a bakery founded by Tracy German, who got her start at the original Trinity Groves incubator.

Joining HMSHost in the new Terminal F is another Diace Designs client, Stellar Partners. Together, they will complete the overall shopping and dining experience at DFW with authentic Texas-made merchandise as well as news and travel convenience offerings inspired by the Texas magazine, 360 West.
