Helping a local nonprofit reach its potential
Dress for Success is a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering women. Through their support network, development tools, and local boutiques, Dress for Success has helped more than 1,000,000 women achieve economic independence. Founded in 1998, the Tampa Bay affiliate of this nationwide organization is celebrating 20 years of service in 2018. Executive Director Katie McGill leads the Tampa Bay affiliate, and her commitment to serving those in need is backed by her own experience volunteering through various organizations for more than 25 years. In 2016 alone, Dress for Success Tampa Bay donated more than $100,000 in clothing and awarded more than $5,000 in scholarships.
Running a nonprofit organization is filled with challenges, from securing financing to coordinating volunteers—not to mention marketing and promoting services and events.
