Dress for Success

Dress for Success is a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering women to achieve economic mobility through professional development, workplace attire, and a global network of support. Since its founding, the organization has served more than 1.5 million women worldwide through a network spanning 17 countries.

Founded in 1998, Dress for Success Tampa Bay has served more than 38,000 women throughout the Tampa Bay community, providing career development, professional attire, coaching, and resources designed to help women thrive in work and in life.

The Tampa Bay affiliate celebrated 25 years of service in 2023. For 16 years, longtime Executive Director Katie McGill was the driving force behind Dress for Success Tampa Bay. Before her unexpected passing in 2023, Katie dedicated more than 25 years to providing opportunities and resources to thousands of women throughout the Tampa Bay community. Her unwavering commitment to empowering women left an extraordinary legacy that continues to guide the organization today.

What’s at Stake: Community Engagement + Donations

Running a non-profit organization is filled with challenges, from securing financing to coordinating volunteers—not to mention marketing and promoting services and events. It can be tough to manage the needs of a growing organization while serving the people who depend on it.

Oftentimes, marketing is the last item on a very long to-do list. Yet non-profits like Dress for Success Tampa Bay have no shortage of events to market, and these events are critical to driving community engagement, awareness, and donations. For many years, Dress for Success Tampa Bay scrambled to keep up and do it all themselves.

Highlights: 8-Year Creative Partnership | Major Fundraising + Sponsorship Events

You could say Diace Designs gave Dress for Success Tampa Bay a professional makeover. Diace Designs provided pro bono creative support for all major fundraising, sponsorship, and community events, including annual luncheons, galas, fashion shows, and other signature events.

From flyers, brochures, and social media graphics to banner stands, posters, table numbers, menus, and sponsorship materials, Diace Designs helped create cohesive event experiences that attracted attention, engaged the community, and strengthened corporate sponsorship opportunities. These polished materials and strategic creative guidance gave Dress for Success Tampa Bay the professional presence needed to connect with those who support and fuel the organization’s mission.

Going Above + Beyond

Diace Designs took the partnership even further by developing a custom photoshoot celebrating the stories of several women served by the organization and highlighting their success. Diace Designs helped coordinate the production from concept through execution—including creative direction, on-site glam, jewelry, photography, and logistics—and produced large-format displays that brought each woman’s story to life.

Diace Designs was proud to stand alongside Dress for Success Tampa Bay—using creativity, strategy, and design to support an amazing organization dedicated to empowering women throughout the Tampa Bay community.
