Diace Designs at the Digital Summit Tampa

On August 8–9, 2018, the Diace Designs team had the opportunity to attend (and sponsor!) the Digital Summit in Tampa, FL. Our team had a blast attending the conference and learning from the session leaders. We also had the opportunity to spotlight the brand new Diace Designs website and get feedback from the 750+ attendees. The entire experience was memorable and educational, and we can’t wait to do it again next year.

The Digital Summit was founded in 2001 to deliver digital media and marketing educational content to online marketers, entrepreneurs, and digital strategists. Since then, it has appeared in cities all over the country and featured thought leaders such as Seth Godin, Steve Wozniak, Gary Vaynerchuk, and Rand Fishkin. You may have even seen the summit in a city near you. This year, the conference made a debut right in our backyard: Tampa, FL.

Taking advantage of the proximity and the established reputation of the conference, Diace Designs chose to sponsor the Tampa summit. We claimed the coveted lanyards first; watching the sea of attendees wearing our branded lanyards was thrilling! Then, we also nabbed the sponsorship for the charging station, which was a vital modern amenity that every conference should have. The exposure we received through these sponsorships came at a critical time, given that we recently revamped our brand and website, and the response we got exceeded our expectations.

 

The conference sessions were comprised of a mix of longform group workshops and shorter presentations. Topics ranged from content marketing to analytics, SEO to email marketing. Some of our favorites were the content marketing workshop led by Vertical Measures (an agency out of Phoenix, AZ) and the keynote on corporate social responsibility delivered by MGM executive Beverly Jackson. In all, we enjoyed the well-rounded menu of topics and diverse speaker lineup.

Now that the conference is over, we’re busy applying what we learned to our own brand as well as putting it to work for our clients. We’re also blocking off time for next year’s Digital Summit. Hope to see you there!
