Celebrating Able Threads Success!

At Diace Designs, we feel incredibly grateful to work with nonprofits throughout the Tampa Bay area. From our years of partnership with Dress for Success Tampa Bay and the Hillsborough Community College Entrepreneurship program to the creative services we’ve provided for events like Pole for a Purpose and groups like Royal Elite Cheer, we love getting the opportunity to help a deserving organization grow. That’s why we were over the moon when we got the call from The Arc Tampa Bay to help save one of their most meaningful programs.

About Able Threads

The Arc Tampa Bay is a nonprofit organization that serves the entire range of persons with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD). Their workshop program, which provides employment options for the I/DD community, was at risk of closing its doors due to a lack of funding—until they dreamed up the idea for Able Threads, a clothing line that would provide jobs for their community and return 100% of net proceeds back to The Arc Tampa Bay. Diace Designs helped turn that dream into a reality.

Local Recognition + Stellar Sales

Armed with a logo, brand, and inspiring graphics designed by Diace, Able Threads has been an instant success. They’ve sold out of their inventory three times and raised more than $10,000 in just three months! The Able Threads story has been featured on local Channel 10 News, in the Tampa Bay Business Journal, and in the duPont REGISTRY. Their message of #EmpowerEmployEnjoy is one that we are proud to support.

Check out the Able Threads online store, and check back often; Diace Designs will be designing a new graphic for their t-shirt line every month!
