Another Success Story for Dress for Success Tampa Bay!

On October 16, 2019, our local Tampa Bay chapter of the nationwide nonprofit Dress for Success (DFS) hosted their “Afternoon of Women’s Empowerment Luncheon,” at the Bryan Glazer Family JCC where more than 200 people attended in support of the organization. The event centered around the success stories of three women who, with the help of DFS Tampa Bay, overcame immense challenges in their lives. The event itself was a huge success, and we were honored to be a sponsor and creative partner.

Our Contribution

The Diace Designs team routinely provides high-quality, pro-bono marketing and event materials for DFS Tampa Bay events. This time, we wanted to take our contribution one step further. DFS had arranged for a special guest—a local news anchor—to lead interviews on stage during the luncheon. The three women who were featured during the event would be answering questions about their journeys and paths to success. We knew that an event like this would be incredibly impactful, and we wanted to ensure that the marketing materials would do it justice.

That’s when we came up with the idea of creating full-page profiles of each of these inspiring women. We arranged professional photoshoots for each woman, complete with hair, makeup, jewelry, and styling services. DFS Tampa Bay providing suiting at their boutique, and we chose the stunning Renaissance Tampa International Plaza Hotel as the luxury setting for the shoots. The full-page profiles were printed as 24” x 36” posters, which we used to line the hall of the venue, creating a grand entrance for these women. The posters gave the women confidence as they entered the luncheon and made them feel like movie stars.

After the event, we were delighted to provide each of the three women with her personal poster, the jewelry from her photoshoot, and a complimentary album of professional headshots that she can use to achieve even more success in her career.
